Review of Oaxaca’s 12-hour tour to Tule, Mitla, Hierve el Agua, Teotitlán del Valle, and a mezcal distillery.

“We booked this tour based on glowing reviews and recommendations—and wow, it absolutely did not disappoint. Adriel is truly one of a kind. His English is California-perfect, and his pride and passion for Oaxaca—its culture, history, and food—are unmatched. He brings BIG, contagious energy to the experience. My husband and I half-joked that we wanted to adopt him 😂. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing ability to read the group’s vibe, sharing as much (or as little) depth as you want. We had a thousand questions, and he answered every one with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine joy. The tour itself is fantastic—visiting several historical sites with detailed, thoughtful explanation...”

Nice guy, smart, had great knowledge; Daniel the driver was sooooo sweet and accommodating and Hector (archeologist) was awesome! We loved it. Recommend to anyone looking for a trip that has it all. Best part was witnessing weaving in a families home!”

Review of Oaxaca’s full-day tour to Mitla, Teotitlán, Hierve el Agua, Tule, and a mezcal tasting, with practical tips and value advice.

“The tour was well managed and organized— stops were not too long nor too short. We were told we’d be back by 7pm but thankfully we were back by 5:30pm. I really liked Mitla and Teotitlan. Buy souvenirs and ice cream/juice at Mitla, the prices are pretty good. For Hierve el Agua, it’s easy to get lost and accidentally hike too far, I think it would’ve been better if the guide joined us all the way in. It’s very very hot this time of year so make sure you have water! Food at the buffet restaurant was around MXN198 and it tasted okay, but there are definitey better Mexican meals…”

“Awesome tour! Started the day with breakfast (not included) at the meeting point! Andrea was the best tour guide we could wish for! She explained a lot in the van on the way to the stops, recommended the best food from Oaxaca (also had good vegetarian/vegan recommendations!). It was a fun experience together with the other people who did the tour (we were with 16 in total) and we also got to know eachother during the mezcal tasting. Buffet was really good and the stops were nice. The bus ride did not feel long at all, time flew by! Afterwards Andrea texted us all some recommendations to eat/do/visit in Oaxaca.…”
